Ronald J. Schwartz, J.D. L.L.M., P.C. has been licensed to practice law in New York, since 1964 and in Florida since 1979 and admitted to practice before the following federal courts: US Supreme Court, US Tax Court, 2nd Circuit Federal Court of Appeals and Federal Southern, Eastern, Northern Western District Courts of New York.
He has concentrated his law practice in the areas of elder law, trusts and estates since its inception in 1964.
Many of his clients and their families have dual residences in New York and Florida and he is qualified to assist them in their legal issues in both states, with offices in Miami and New York.
The office in New York assists clients and their families in the greater New York area, and our office in Florida provides assistance in Southern Florida, on the east and west coast.
This service was instituted by Mr. Schwartz in response to the needs of his clients who reside in NY and Florida and those of his clients who have decided to change their domicile permanently to the warm relaxed climate of Florida, as they age into retirement.
Multi jurisdictional issues involving estate planning, advanced directives including powers of attorney, designation of health care surrogates, living wills, must be addressed. Documents prepared and executed in New York are different than those required by Florida residents and may be ineffective in that jurisdiction.
